Game needs some tuning, thus the low score. Difficulty increases way too fast, resulting in "game over" after less than 20-30 seconds. Music and graphics are ok, they are not magnificent but work efficiently for the genre. Rework the curve of increase in line spawn time and this could be a fun game to play.

Art was very good, though animation could use some work. A loading screen would have also been nice, since the game took some time to load. I also found myself running out of ammo despite uncovering the "secret" stashes and not using a lot of bullets.
I enjoyed the game's resemblance to Metal Slug, I think this game has potential with just a little bit of extra work / fine-tuning. Cheers!

Why is this game not on front page yet?
Great work, the game felt completely balanced, while the strategic design, while simple, was satisfying - not too easy, not too hard. The fact that the ships worked on their own AI was (while some hardcore RTS players may argue) a plus, since it allowed the player to focus on the real strategic part, i.e. building.
The music was also good, since it gave out the correct mood for a space game. However, at times it felt a little short (ending abruptly while I was still in a stage) and repetitive.
Overall, great job! With a little polishing this could make an all-time best, besides being in a rather well-stocked genre.

A very good attempt. Graphics were robust for their use, the learning curve was satisfactory and the music was decent. In my opinion, with a few additions this could become a really great game. Here are a few things that have room for improvement:

1. The difficulty, at least on normal, might need to be lowerer just a bit. The building strategy felt unforgiving - one small mistake and you definately loose a life, of which you only have 5.
2. The tower statistics are only presented for the upgrades. It might be useful to provide statistics of a tower on click or rollover, for informative reasons.
3. Some enemy (like the running-dog-thing) seem more appropriate for later levels, not too early on (were the mazing is not yet developed).
4. Though I did not mind the single-stage availability, you could at least add some variation in the texturing or enemy (no real stats differences, just different sprites) and present it as a different level; the variety might keep the player interested for just a little bit more.

Cheers, we expect to see more!

It is a good game, based on a good concept. This certainly has some potential, despite being (obviously because of the finite time you had) rather simple at this form.
One annoying thing I encountered was that some monsters get spawned (or trapped) outside the screen, and with no clue as to where to shoot it became quite the problem after a few stages.

thanks for feedback but its impossible about respawn out of screen. it's maybe you just not recognized larva at stage that not moving. i hope in future i'll progress mechanic and gameplay and it's will be really nice game.

Front page was in dire need of something like this

An amazing experience, from start to end!

Very well made graphics, control of the character, and upgrades that do not alter the balance of the gameplay... one still needs great coordination to pass levels 10+.

But the most amazing feature is how you managed to turn a rage-quit game into a rage-replay game. It takes some careful level design to keep the player frustrated enough to need to finish it ("I won't fall for that trap the next time!"), but not too frustrated to quit ("forget it, I have work to do anyway").

Of course, as is alwaysthe case with an upgrade system, once you reach the top-notch equipment, interest drops a bit, but the adrenaline rush in itself was enough to keep the player amused till the end.

Another great (yet largely ignored) characteristic was how responsive the game works. I have a rather slow computer and most reflex games are impossible to play here, even in low quality. You somehow managed to keep resource consumption at a quite low level.

An amazing job! I salute you :)

I'm glad you liked it! I'm sure we lose many players due to the game's difficulty, but I'm happy to see a bunch of hardcore dudes can beat the game and get all the achievements.

Thanks for the review!

Excellent execution

This was a simple, yet very well designed and executed idea, from start to end.

In my opinion, the key elements of the game were on one side the inability to pause the time and play at a slower pace (which meant the game needed the player's full attention) and on the other side the multiple leauges (similar to a "restart with stats" option) which allowed for mistakes and thus for the game to be played a little more casually. Through these two elements the game achieved a nice, balanced experience.

I would have prefered a more medieval design on the interface (it was a little too sterile for my taste) and would really have enjoyed appearance changes when the characters level up... of course, I realize that such an addittion requires extra work, but I am pretty sure it is worth it.

Overall, a very good attempt! Keep at it :)

Thank you for your review and suggestions :) Noted*

A good attempt

Good concept, but the music and sound effects are really annoying. I would suggest replacing the sound of turning the pipes with something more subtle, and adding a mute option for the sound.

Besides that, you could enhance the graphic environment of the game with simple tricks, such as slightly changing the color of the tubes at each level, adding some small background effects, and so on.

This is a good logic game; by making small changes you can turn this into a very good game.

No point

The pixel art was decent and the game managed to give off the atmosphere of a distant planet. However, I couldn't help but wonder what the point of it all was. Kill the native inhabitats of the planet just so that we can colonize it? I was at least expecting some twist in the plot.

Overall good attempt, but with some serious plot issues. Some depth in the plot as well as a few added environmental effects (the wind blowing was not enough as the sole ambient sound for me) would really make this game interesting and enjoyable.

Really...

...what can I say... amazing job.

A simple concept, difficulty curve is perfect, controls are not too easy, not too complex, and the idea of not allowing gravity shifts while falling is very apropriate. The whole set-up is excactly as needed, nothing is in excess.

Graphics and music were good enough not to bother the player, yet simple enough to allow focusing on the puzzle / gameplay.

A deeper story (in the lines of action puzzles such as 'The Company of Myself') would have been to my liking (thus the 1 point penalty), but of course this is up to you to decide.

A truly worthy action puzzle, well done.
