The game is good, however the advertisments that appear between-levels are severely impeding the gameplay.
Please remove in-game ads and re-submit, the game is worth a clear 7-8 otherwise.

Hi Navaak, game is not created for free. All game creators, graphics, programmers needs eat etc. If you want game without advertisment is possible of course. Just than you have to pay for play. Advertisment in game is way how to reward game creators. In game Ad is not many often and I think it is not problem to life with it.
Too long have I awaited this moment...
You don't know what it's like... all these years since Amiga... I have waited... patiently... and now IT'S BACK! Thank you so much for giving us the oportunity to relive the legend! You are amazing.
I am happy to make you so Happy. Be more patient - next stages are still in development. It's quite time consuming to bring you all the same visual/sound and gameplay experience as we had back in 80's.
This is an appropriate game!
An excellent game, I must say. It has all properties an online game should have: Medium difficulty, quick pace, fair graphics, nice music, and medium to short duration. It thus entertains, promotes a little thought, and ends before one has lost an entire day playing it. I salute you on this attempt!
However, what really made me vote 4 or 5 in a series of times is the introductory music. Could you give us some information on this music? Thank you and expecting the next game!
Good attempt
The artwork was very original, but there are some MAJOR issues you need to work on:
1. Add sound (at least some background music, if not for sound FX).
2. Reaction to controls was very slow. Movement in general was rather smooth but too slow.
3. When collecting more than 10 orbs, the whole number did not fit the description.
4. You might need a concept to base the game on. Not just a level and a guy with a gun. This will add to the game's fun.
Work on these and your game might be very enjoyable.
About your frustration...
Reading the last paragraph of your description, I had to go through the reviews to understand what made you feel so disapointed. Even though I have to say I understand your point of view, having tried to make a game and therefore undestanding the difficulty of the process, I also believe you do the reviewers no justice. Sure, most of them have this angry, know-it-all style, but you surely know that this is the internet and thus how the majority works - thus to be expected.
However, some comments, hateful or not, have some point. I am not to judge whether or not you were inspired by "Company of Myself", but the similarity is indeed noticeable. This is not in itself a minus, but in art generally it is important to differ, to create something that goes beyond what has been done; and I am not quite sure your work here reaches that level.
Then, the control issues are indeed enough to annoy the gamer, along with the underexplained replication process. Some return after a while, some don't. You might be correct to be annoyed by those that after one try quit and write a bad review, but you, as the creator, could have avoided that.
You need to remember, though, that reviewing a game does not have as a prerequisite that I know how to make a better one. Therefore, you need to listen to the reviewers (even though most of us indeed are annoying) not because you respect them (or they respect you, for that matter) but because it will make YOU better in the future.
See this as a challenge, to make your next game better, instead of being disappointed to the point of stop the creative process.
Your game is worth. It does create an atmosphere while one plays. The music, as mentioned by the others, is amazing (I am currently listening to it now) and the graphics are decent for their purpose. I hope we see more of your work soon.
Good idea
The concept is good, and the effects and music fit very well with the game. However, because of the effects, the game is so resource demanding that I could hardly play it, even in low quality. Consider replacing the effects (I suppose you used blur) with something less CPU intensive and you will greatly increase playability!
Good work.
Amazing
Your work is excellent. I don't even know where to start from: the visual part is simply amazing, having captured the silent cinema style very convincingly, the storyline is very significant (especially the ending) and the music... well, the music is probably the best part of this overall-wonderful piece of art.
I wonder if you could answer one question, though: you mention that "additional audio" is from Analogik, however I could not find the song you put in the minigame part (where the character falls). Is it also from Analogik, or is it by another group? Thank you and I hope to see more of you soon...
many poeple have asked this. the additional song is called "princess krocodile" and is by the dansh electronica band called Gry. They only ever made 2 albums in the beginning of the 2000's. this particular song is from the album called publick relations.
you can find information on them on wikipedia
Well...
You have good designing skills; I liked the whole set-up. However, there have been tens (maybe hundreds) of snake games on newgrounds, which makes the category a little outdated.
I hate to see your skills lost in such a game when you can make up something of your own and submit it. I would also suggest you start working with sound. If next submission is original, it will surey get a high score :)
Thanks, I am not too good at sound... well I guess I need a recording software and hardware :P For original content, I guess I have to work on my AS2 lol thanks for the very useful comment
At last...
It has been a while since I saw a good text adventure (albeit as short as this one). Excellent work! And the alternative endings where really enjoyable, showed you actually put some love in the game ;)
Very well, I would really like to see some more text adventures from you in the future.
Ok, I have to nag about one random thing though: when the character puts on the gloves, his hands do not change accordingly. Since there is a change on the character when you pick up the pills, I would expect a simple color change on the hands would be in place :P
Excellent
A wonderful flash re-enactment of the legend of Orpheas and Eyridiki in abstract form. Such games make me very glad to be a part of this community and have the opportunity to see such well-performed ideas.
Yes, in times the game was a little hard, but not at the cost of emphasis on the atmosphere or storyline. Excellent work, all in all :)
